Adults and children 2 years and older should brush their teeth thoroughly, preferably after each meal or at least twice a day, or as directed by a dentist or doctor. Teach children under 6 good brushing and rinsing habits to minimize swallowing, and supervise them until they can brush on their own. For children under 2, consult a dentist or doctor.
