NewGel+ C-Section Strips are curved medical grade silicone gel strips designed for post-operative caesarean section scars, and can also be used on thyroidectomy and hysterectomy scars. They help keep the scar flat and soft while easing itching and tightness, cushion it from rubbing against clothes, and can be worn beneath undergarments. Each pack contains 2 strips. It works through occlusion, hydration, elevated skin temperature and continuous light pressure, with positive results visible in as little as 3 weeks on both old and new scars.
How to use
How to use
Take the sheet or strip out of the package and cut or trim it to fit the scar if necessary. Wash and dry the area using only a non-moisturizing cleanser, and keep the scar free from creams, lotions or ointments. Peel away the backing and apply NewGel+ adhesive side down on the scar; medical grade tape is recommended to hold it in place. Wear daily for 6 to 12 hours, for up to 3 months on new scars and up to 6 months on older scars. Inspect and clean the scar area daily, wash the sheet with mild non-moisturizing soap and water after each use and only re-use it once fully dry. Do not use if soiled or damaged, and store unused product in its original packaging.
